Common questions
How long does it take?
Usually a few weeks from our first chat. The main thing that affects timing is how quickly you can send over your text and photos, and I can help if you are stuck.
Do I need a domain name?
If you already have one, I will connect it to your new website. If not, I can help you get one set up.
Can I get a business email address?
Email is not part of the package. Your domain works with any email provider, such as Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, so you can set one up alongside your website.
Will I show up on Google?
Every website is set up with clear page titles and descriptions, a sitemap and fast-loading pages, so search engines can find and understand it. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings, so I will not promise them.
What if I need changes or more pages later?
Small text and photo updates are included. Send them over and I will make them, or do them yourself in the editor. New pages or features are quoted separately, and you will know the price before any work starts.
Is there a contract?
There is a 12-month initial term. After that, you carry on month to month.
What happens if I want to leave?
Your domain is always yours. After the initial term you can stop whenever you like, and if you want to take the website with you, you can buy it outright for a one-off fee.
